  • 2⅔ cups flour
  • 2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1½ tsp baking soda
  • 1½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup sour cream (or plain yogurt)
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 1 large egg
  • For the glaze: powdered sugar and fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  2. Melt butter and molasses together in a large bowl; set aside to cool.
