  • 500g chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 200g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 cups cooked white rice

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a hot wok or large skillet, heat vegetable oil. Add the sliced chicken and cook until golden brown (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from the wok.
  3. In the same wok, add onion and garlic; stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant. Add broccoli and mushrooms; stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until tender yet crisp.
  4. Return the chicken to the wok along with soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and cornstarch slurry. Stir well to coat everything evenly and cook until the sauce thickens.
  5. Serve hot over steamed rice.
